CGFNS announces Special Administration of the Qualifying Exam in 2004

PHILADELPHIA, PA — DECEMBER 21, 2004 — The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) has announced that it will offer a Special Administration of the CGFNS Qualifying ExamSM at a limited number of exam centers in 2004. The exam will be held September 22, 2004 at the following exam centers:

The application deadline for the September 22, 2004, Special Administration of the Qualifying Exam is June 23, 2004 for new applications and July 21, 2004 for re-applications. Anyone wishing to take the September 22 exam at one of the locations listed above must have all of their documentation to CGFNS by the application deadline. Remember to choose September 22, 2004, as your exam date choice on your Certification Program application, along with one of the seven locations listed above.

All applicants are reminded that in order to obtain a CGFNS Certificate, they must pass both the CGFNS Qualifying ExamSM and English language proficiency exams from one of the following:
