What is a CGFNS ID number?

We assign a number to you when you make your first application for a CGFNS service. It is emailed or mailed depending on the preferred form of communication that you selected in your application. It is used for all future services.

When do I receive my CGFNS ID number?

After we receive payment, we notify you through the method of communication you chose on your application. Depending on postal mail transit times, it can take up to three weeks to receive your CGFNS ID number. If it takes longer, please contact Customer Care through the contact methods listed at https://www.cgfns.org/cerpassweb/processContactUs.do.

Do I use the same ID number as before?

I applied to CGFNS years ago; I want to try again. Do I use the same ID number as before?
