Glossary: CGFNS online account status messages
All services
Application Incomplete
You have either not provided all of the required information in the application process or the order was not paid for. Click the Application Incomplete order and click the Go button to complete the application and pay by credit card or print a voucher and mail payment to CGFNS. The payment voucher is found at the last step.
Cancelled
You requested or CGFNS cancelled an incomplete order. Duplicate online orders are also cancelled.
Expired
Your application order expired because the requirements of the service were not met within 12 months.
Order Deleted
Either your order was deleted because full payment was not received, or it was entered in error or a duplicate.
Ready For Review
The minimum required documents have been received and you file will be assigned for a review. NOTE: This does not mean that all required documents for the order have been received.
Waiting For Required Items
All required order documents have not been received for a review.
Credentials Evaluation Service and Credential Verification Services for New York State
Report Issued
A report has been issued to the respective recipients. For CES, reports were sent electronically to the State Boards of Nursing. Reports were sent electronically to New York.

Report Issued but Waiting on English
A report has been issued to recipients that do not require passing English scores. However, at least one State Board of Nursing recipient requires proof of passing English scores before the report can be issued.

Ready For Processing
A notarized application form, full payment and preliminary authorization forms have been received. NOTE: This does not mean that all required authorization forms and documents have been received for the order.
Ready For Submission
All required items have been received, or the time limit has exceeded 180 days for receipt of all required documents and a report will be prepared and submitted to the NY State Education Department.
Certification Program and VisaScreen®
Service Completed Successfully
All documents have been reviewed and meet all program requirements. You passed the CGFNS Qualifying Exam® or the NCLEX-RN®. In addition, you have passed either the required English language proficiency exams or are English Exempt. The certificate has not yet printed.
Certification Program
Completed CP Successfully but Waiting on English
You passed the CGFNS Qualifying Exam®, but CGFNS has not received your passing English exam scores.
No Show
You did not show for your scheduled CGFNS Qualifying Exam®.
Post CP Review
All required documents have been received and you passed the CGFNS Qualifying Exam®. A final review of your documents is occurring before issuing a CGFNS (Certification Program) certificate.
Rostered
Your documents have been reviewed and you have been scheduled for the CGFNS Qualifying Exam®.
Service Completed Unsuccessfully
You failed or passed the CGFNS Qualifying Exam®, but did not pass the English exam requirement within a two-year time limit.
Waiting For Exam Center Selection
You have not made a current exam center and date selection, or the selected center(s) were closed and a new center and date needs to be chosen.
VisaScreen®
Waiting On Passing English
You have met all of the requirements for VisaScreen®, except that CGFNS has not received your English language proficiency exam passing scores. Please request the scores be sent to CGFNS.
Certificates and reports
Certified
You have been issued a CGFNS or ICHP VisaScreen® certificate and it was mailed via express mail within two business days.
Mailed
The certificate or report has been printed and mailed to you.
Waiting For Approval
Waiting for you to meet all the service’s requirements to be issued either a certificate or report.
Documents
Educational Requirements Deficient
Your education was reviewed and determined to be as lacking.
Meets All Program Requirements
The document was reviewed and subsequently verified to meet the requirements for the service.
Received
A document has been received and entered into your account. The document has yet to be reviewed.
Received But Not Accepted
A required document was received and identified as incomplete. Notification was sent to the licensing authority, school official and/or to you. Click on the notebook symbol in the Notes column to reveal why the document was not accepted.
Requirement Waived
It was determined that the requirement is not necessary for the selected service.
Restrictions on Credential
The license document was reviewed and a restriction, suspension or revocation was identified.
Waiting to be Received
Waiting for a required document to be received.
Exams
English Exam Exempt
You do not need to take English language proficiency exams because you were educated in a country designated as English-exempt.
Failed
You did not pass the CGFNS Qualifying Exam® or the required English language proficiency exams.
Passed
You passed the CGFNS Qualifying Exam®, NCLEX® or CGFNS was sent notification that you passed the required English language proficiency exams.
Waiting For Passing Test Results
Waiting for you to take and pass either the CGFNS Qualifying Exam® or NCLEX®, and for CGFNS to be sent your NCLEX® exam results.

Waiting for you to pass the required English language proficiency exams.

The required payment has been received and posted to your account.
