Highly regarded for her expertise and thought leadership in the credential evaluation field, Emily Tse has more than 20 years’ experience in international education. Prior to joining CGFNS, she served as Director of Evaluations at the International Education Research Foundation (IERF), where she managed the organization’s Country Index series on educational systems around the world. She has also worked on several fronts with the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), serving on its International Education Standards Council (IESC), the oversight committee for AACRAO’s Electronic Database for Global Education (EDGE), which is a resource for evaluating educational credentials earned outside the U.S. She has also contributed to AACRAO’s 2021 Guide to Bogus Institutions and Documents. She received a Pioneer Research Grant for her comparative study on credentials evaluation in four countries, as well as NAFSA’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to International Enrollment Management (IEM).
