The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.
The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide. To bring the goal of “Mental Health for All” to light, a key element is building resilience at the personal, community, and global levels. Resilience can help everyone adapt better to the ever-changing world we share because it gives people the strength needed to process and overcome hardship.
CGFNS takes today to acknowledge the efforts of mental health professionals and the need for more employers in the health care field to care for the mental health of their employees.
