CGFNS is leveraging its expertise and partnerships to develop technology that will restore and store the credentials of qualified health professional refugees who were forced to leave everything behind.

CGFNS’ mission is to serve the global community by verifying and promoting the knowledge-based practice competency of healthcare professionals. That’s why we are developing cutting-edge technologies to restore the livelihood and dignity of nurse refugees whose credentials are lost or have become inaccessible to them due to conflict or disaster. These nurses will then always be able to put their invaluable skills to use providing much needed care wherever they may be.

CGFNS International appreciates the challenges and delays that some applicants are encountering and might continue to experience during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, effective immediately, the expiration dates for all applications received on or after June 1, 2019, set to expire before October, will be extended to October 1, 2020. We will review and revise this policy, if necessary, based upon the unfolding situation. We encourage everyone to stay safe and want our applicants to take comfort in knowing CGFNS will remain sensitive to the global challenges and adapt policies accordingly.
