CGFNS INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR FOR ENTERPRISE SERVICES, DR. CAROL TUTTAS, FEATURED ON NURSING SUCCESS TV
Carol Tuttas, PhD, RN, Director for Enterprise Services, CGFNS International, Inc., is one of the guest experts on Nursing Success TV. In Episode 4, Dr. Tuttas gives advice to new nursing graduates regarding job opportunities outside the traditional hospital setting.
Dr. Tuttas encourages new nursing graduates to explore opportunities in rural settings, long-term care, hospice and rehabilitation. She stressed the importance of setting goals for the future, understanding what would be required to be eligible for one’s dream job, and gaining invaluable experience by being willing, available and mobile to go where the jobs are.
In December, 2013, Dr. Tuttas talked about the importance of furthering one’s education in Episode 3. She said doors opened for her with each degree earned. She stressed the importance of support from family and friends in achieving educational goals, particularly if working fulltime. She concluded one can never have too much education and that the value of education was “priceless.”

Dr. Tuttas’ career has spanned 22 years of nursing practice in Canada and the U.S. She received her initial nursing education at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. After she relocated to Florida, she earned a BSN at Lynn University, and then a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration at Florida Atlantic University in 2002. In 2013, Dr. Tuttas completed her PhD in nursing at the University of Miami, the same year she joined CGFNS International.
