Colorado Licensure & Registration Info

The Colorado State Board of Nursing, within the state Department of Regulatory Affairs, is responsible for licensing registered and practical nurses. Colorado is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, meaning that nurses in other Compact states do not need to apply for a separate Colorado nursing license unless they plan to make Colorado their primary residence and licensing state.
