Oklahoma Licensure & Registration Info

The Oklahoma State Board of Nursing licenses registered nurses and practical nurses. Oklahoma is a Nurse Licensure Compact (Compact) state, meaning that nurses licensed by another Compact state do not need to apply for licensure unless they plan to make Oklahoma their primary state of residency.

CES applicants have the option to have exam results sent directly to the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or CGFNS will provide exam results to the Board of Nursing. Exams scores are required to be submitted to CGFNS for CES if your program was taught in **English

Accepted English Language Proficiency Test and Passing Exam Scores:

  • TOEFL Internet Based Test Passing Score: 83; Speaking score: 26
  • IELTS: Overall Test Passing Score: 6.5; Minimum passing score for each module: 6.0

*Oklahoma Board of Nursing will not accept eDas as a standalone service. eDas can only be purchased in conjunction with a VisaScreen Verification Letter or Certification Program Verification Letter.
